Cardiac Catheterization Labs
We are located on the first floor of the hospital. Services include: EKG, Echocardiography, Stress Tests, and Nuclear Imaging.

Cardiovascular Non-Invasive
BioZ.com: The BioZ.com measures how much blood a patient's heart is pumping as well as thoracic fluid content. The non-invasive device takes just two minutes to produce an accurate report. Patients suffering from heart failure or with suspected cardiovascular disease are the most frequent recipients of this procedure.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Southwestern Medical Center uses the 1.5T Signa MRI. The MRI equipment is a high field system that provides more defined images in shorter periods of time which result in quicker, more precise patient exams. Also, the extra wide cradle accommodates most patients and cuts down on patient anxiety and claustrophobia. The 1.5T Signa MRI cuts exam times in half.

Radiation Oncology
Southwestern Medical Center has the Elekta IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) equipment.-the most advanced cancer treatment on the market, featuring technology to allow greater precision in targeting and eliminating malignant tumors. In addition to the IMRT , Southwestern Medical Center has also added a GE Lightspeed CT simulator, IMRT treatment planning software from Phillips ADAC, and IMPAC radiation therapy software solution. All of which make the hospital’s cancer center among the most technologically advanced in the state. The equipment will provide the center with an exclusive treatment capability not yet available anywhere else in Oklahoma.

Sleep Diagnostic Systems
Southwestern Diagnostic Sleep Studies include tests that record a variety of body functions during sleep, such as the electrical activity of the brain, eye movement, muscle activity, heart rate, respiratory effort, air flow, and blood oxygen levels. These tests are used both to diagnose sleep apnea and to determine its severity. For more information about the benefits of having a sleep study, please call 580-531-4717.

Wound Care and Hyperbaric Services
Today many hyperbaric facilities have also become wound care centers. Understanding and utilizing today's technologies in the treatment of chronic wounds has become an expectation of the Hyperbaric/Wound Care physician. Southwestern Wound Care and Hyperbaric Services utilizes a novel approach to wound healing that synergistically combines the latest modalities in advanced wound care with hyperbaric oxygen therapy when indicated. Patients with chronic wounds, those wounds that are compromised from healing, are globally evaluated. Factors contributing to compromised healing, are then addressed with appropriate interventions. This wound care team approach utilizes the talents of a comprehensive group of specialists, who direct their expertise at each of the individual factors that are compromising the patients wound healing.
